Musings on Tea and Its Complications

I like this quiz-thing, so much that I read all the possible results and liked them all. I would have picked Tomato for myself, but I’m not a “stinking cheat”, so I posted what my original score was.

What Flavour Are You? Cor blimey, I taste like Tea.Cor blimey, I taste like Tea.

I am a subtle flavour, quiet and polite, gentle, almost ambient. My presence in crowds will often go unnoticed. Best not to spill me on your clothes though, I can leave a nasty stain. What Flavour Are You?

(Note: The Instructions at the top of the quiz say you can choose as many answers to one question as you like. I didn’t notice till I took it the second time. I got Pine.)

I don’t drink tea, and only because I choose not to. Every time I drink herbal tea, I don’t like it, but maybe it’s because it’s not prepared right or to my preference? But how do I know my preference if I haven’t tasted what my preference is?

Maybe I should drink tea more often to find something I like. But the concept of so many nasty cups of tea to find one I like, and wasting so much in the process, is not pleasant. Maybe I’ll just not delve into the area in the first place.

(An unrelated note) Hey, fellow Albuqerqueans: Anyone hear how Boggess is? I mailed her a thank-you note oh-so-long-ago for her wedding gift, and it was sent back. Has she moved from the house she used to live in?

About The Original Kate

Along with artistic tendencies, Kate enjoys unusual people and is constantly striving for some sort of nonconformity. Kate offers a perspective that is thoughtful but well-written and full of images within the words. Other tidbits that might intrigue: she has very long auburn hair, and, you guessed it, her favorite color is orange.

  1. If you like cinnamon at all, I’d suggest Good Earth herbal. It’s not much like herbal teas, really. It’s tea for people who don’t like tea, or something. But good, and with cinnamon in it.
